A courageous man history (English)

For the English part, we had to answer a question about the movie "Life is beautiful". This question was «Do you think Guido was right to hide the horrors of the concentration camp to his son? ». I think he was right because his son would be traumatized and he would not be happy in the concentration camp. I will explain you those two points of view in the next paragraphs.

Like you have learned before, I think Guido was right to hide the horrors of the concentration camp to Giosè, Guido's son. If his father would not hide what was really happening he would be traumatized for the rest of his life. After the war, he would not be able to live normally. In his everyday life he would remember the horrors that he saw. But because of the genius idea of his father, he will remember the Second World War like if it was a summer camp.

Also, during their sojourn, Giosè wouldn't have fun at all. He would be sad every day. With the game, which the prize was a tank, he had a reason to hide in the dormitory. If not, Guido's son would not have the will to survive in those conditions. Especially, because in the movie, they stay like one week in the concentration camp. But, if this story was true, they would stay approximately one year, maybe less, maybe more.

The creator of the movie was really intelligent to think at this scenario. If Guido would exist in the real life he would be really courageous to invent that game. A good example of courage is when he translates the orders of the Nazi commander into game's rules for his son. But you, would you take that risk to make your child happy?
